I am currently a Computer Science Teacher and a Computer Programming Instructor. While I have been tutoring unprofessionally all my life, I have been tutoring professionally for the past four to five years. I have had particular success teaching beginning Computer Programming to children and Math (in particular, Algebra).
I am a strong believer in mastery-based learning (students are different, and each student learns differently). I believe teaching should be tailored to the student and not vice versa.
I love action movies and psychological thrillers. If I have to see a movie at the theater, it has to be something that will keep me on the edge of my seat.
